The next Area Group meeting is on 9th June.
It will be held in the Scout Hall in Shawlands, Glasgow.
There will be an optional morning workshop (10.30am) on weathering.
The main meeting will start at 1pm and covers audio on layouts.
The main topics are:

1. Some audio principles
2. Layout sounds (types, requirements)
3. Sound systems (local, centralised, distributed)
4. Sound sources (free, commercial, recorded)
5. Sound players (commercial, DIY)
6. Controlling sounds (switching, triggering, JMRI)
7. Loudspeakers (types, wiring, mounting)
8. Sound in locos

As usual, there will be a £3 charge to cover the catering and hall charges.
All MERG members are invited to attend.
