MERG Forum

The forum is available to subscribing members of the Model Electronic Railway Group. It provides a means for MERG members to correspond over the Internet on matters relating to the application of electronics (including computers) to all aspects of railway modelling, and other affairs relating to the Group. Discussion of other related railway and modelling matters is also allowed.

Forum members may choose to access the forum entirely by browsing on the web or may choose to subscribe to specific subsections or topics which interest them. If subscribed the notification of new posts to those topics will be sent to the member by email. A Daily Digest of posts is available, as well as an RSS feed.

MERG Yahoo Group

As well as the MERG Forum, there are also a number of legacy Yahoo Groups for those MERG members who prefer the email based style. These groups are MERG (a general MERG forum), CBUS and TCC.

The MERG Yahoo Group is available to subscribing members of the Model Electronic Railway Group, It covers a wide variety of topics relating to MERG and other areas - it is generally more free-ranging in scope. It often offers a more immediate response to enquiries.

Once registered, access is either by logging into the group webpage, or by selecting to receive and respond to messages by email - either as they are received by the group, or as a daily digest.

There is also a file download area where members share resources, photos, etc.
